Refurbished iPhone 8

The iPhone 8 with its design similar to the latest generation iPhone since the release of the iPhone 6 seems to offer at first glance nothing new. Despite this somewhat surprising point, the Cupertino-based firm is once again presenting us with a smartphone of excellent quality and ever-increasing performance for its tenth anniversary. Although less mediatized than the iPhone X, it nevertheless offers the same power, all for a much more affordable price.

Why change a winning team?! With its little air of déjà vu, the design of the iPhone 8 will disappoint fans of novelties. However the handling is very pleasant, and you just have to turn the iPhone over for the innovation side. Indeed the back of the device is covered with glass which allows it to be charged wirelessly by induction. In addition to the iPhone 8, as the 7 has the advantage of being certified IP67, in other words it is dustproof and waterproof. A good point, therefore, even if it means acquiring a wireless headset or adapter because it is therefore devoid of jack plugs.

The real novelty is on the performance side; indeed, the iPhone 8 is equipped just like the iPhone X with the new Apple A11 Bionic chip. This makes it one of the most powerful smartphones on the market, beating its competitors by more than twice. The iPhone 7 was already very pleasant from this point of view, but with the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X, the apple brand has done extremely well.

About the drums, nothing extraordinary. The score of the iPhone 8 remains very close to its predecessor on this one. Able to last until the evening in intensive use and until the next morning with a more moderate use. Still better than the iPhone 6S but we regret that Apple has not made more effort in this direction.

Still among the best photophones available in 2018, the iPhone 8 does not stand out that much from the iPhone 7. Apart from some rather subtle new features, we find the same 12 MP back sensor and its stabilized optics opening at f/1.8. It's in the image management that you can feel the progression with more pronounced micro-contrast and a warmer white balance. Concerning the 7MP front sensor, without revolutionizing the world of selfie, it remains a sure value.

Despite the absence of a new design, difficult to find flaws in it, its quality makes the iPhone 8 one of the best smartphones under 5 inches on the market. Even if it is not the most revolutionary model there is, its new features, such as its unequalled power, its charging system that is both practical and playful, but also its ingenious and innovative control center, make it attractive. Reinforcing its achievements, it is both successful and frustrating at the same time. Its affordable price in view of its overall performance makes it a phone of choice, to say the least, all for less than the iPhone X.
